Natasha/Clint, Steve, Tony; Gen-ish; PG-13; 8029 words
Summary: Natasha realizes that the only way out is to offer up an explanation.
A continuation of Slynn's Recruitment series. As with the previous parts, I first had no idea what to expect from this story. It is heartbreaking, really, but in a good way. She has a great way writing drama and making even more extreme decisions from the characters feel entirely understandable. Very interesting blend of movie and comics canon too.
WIP/heads up for The Unusuals fans:celesteavonne is in the process of posting a casefile with the entire ensemble that's picking up where the last ep left us hanging. So far the first two of five parts are up, each part is ~10,000 words. I'm hooked. ffn link: The Unusual Suspects
