Five Times Natasha Does Whatever She Wants With Whoever She Wants for Her Birthday (and That Time in Bulgaria When She Didn't) by [livejournal.com profile] cybermathwitch
Natasha/Clint; PG-13; 4051 words
Written for the c/n promptathon*. The story combines several prompts in a beautiful and insightful character study. The kind that makes me love the characters even more.

* Promptathon Master post is here. Lots of good stuff.

I'm wondering whether it'd be worth watching Iron Man II mostly for Natasha's parts. (My friend tells me we've already seen it once but I have no recollection of that at all.)

IMHO Iron Man II is a yes. I have been puzzled by fans who said it wasn't good. I thought it was wonderful. And Black Widow is hilarious in it too. I look forward to your opinion.

Mickey Rourke makes a terrific Vanko. Very believable.

I would like to join you in your bafflement and fondness for the movie. \o/ I liked it too! Though by this point, my recollections of it are so unclear that I'm not sure if I'd recommend it to someone else or not. I just remember enjoying it at the time.

Hammer was kind of predictable, but I loved Black Widow and Vanko.

Maybe people are tired of Daddy Issues plots or something; IDK.
