Just postponed my climbing date for the evening. I'm saying this almost never but - it's too hot to go climbing. My friends heartily agreed. One used the word 'suffering'. Me, I'm ridicilously happy with the weather even if it's, okay, a bit extreme. It's not gonna last much longer though so I'm enjoying every sweat-soaked second. And taking a cold shower about once an hour. That's the stuff. :)
We're gonna shoot some arrows tonight. Archery is about the only sport you can do in these conditions.

For me it starts to become true misery when temperatures like this lasts so long that it won't cool down at night anymore, like in that awful heatwave a few years ago. Right now I'm not even feeling lethargic yet, then I had afternoons where I could do nothing but sleep, yet not even shifting all activity into early morning and late night helped much, because the temperatures persisted.

Yeah, if this weather lasted for weeks instead of days it'd be too much for me too. I remember a few summers during which my room wouldn't cool down at all at night. I'm already getting a taste of that because this last week I tried to get it as warm as possible so I left the windows wide open day and night. I didn't think it'd become this warm this fast. I'll have to try and cool it down a bit tonight.
