Speaking of, know what else I just read? GEMA are actually charging child daycare centers license fees for singing and performing songs. It reminds me of the time Disney threatened to sue that daycare center for painting Donald Duck & co on their front wall. Equally great for an organization's image, too.

Haven't actually seen that campaign, only heard about it. I don't think it's gonna have the effect they'd want it to have. I'm irked that they waste money on bs like that instead of dealing with the actual problem... now that they realized there is a problem.

Hah yes, they are quite perceptive, aren´t they? ;) Over here (which is in Hamburg) they are present on the huge billboards at the train stations – of course they´re depicting themselves as the protectors of their artists. Nice try, guys, just a little late... *yawn*
