1600!

BBF just crossed the 1600 member mark - incidentally almost 5 years after it was founded by [livejournal.com profile] whichwitch666. BBF has always been my fannish home base of sorts, and so this makes me happy. Also, as Whichwitch tells in this post: soon(ish) we shall present our archive in a new form, easily searched and easy to update. I'm looking forward to it very much - but there's still a bit lot of work to do.

And while I'm posting, I just want to say a heart-felt 'thank you' to everyone who commented on the comic ( because I didn't get to answer all the comments.) I can't express how much I appreciate every single bit of feedback. It is absolutely overwhelming.

Whee! Congrats!!

Have I ever told you that you're the Best Mod Ever, along with <lj user="mousehounde"? You are. & :-) Thanks for all the hard work.

We miss you, you know. With your law studies and everything else I didn't even dare asking whether you wanted to get back to modding. Fortunately we got [livejournal.com profile] valkyrn (aka Master of the Bookmarks :) to join us, so we're covered. But still there'll be much squee if (...when) you come back to mod.

& :-)) I miss y'all so much, too! And as soon as this icky law stuff doesn't require so much of my time, I'll check back in with my lovely BBFers...

Congratulation with the huge amount of feedback that you deservedly got.
So are you a now a BNF?

About the 1600 members on the BBF list, would I take with a grain of salt I am member about ten yahoo groups, and I only check two them regularly know, some of the others have I not looked at for years. By the way do you know if the bouncing members are counted into the total member number?

BNF... nah. I haven't recruited any minions yet.

Oh sure, a lot of these are defunct. And the number is always fluctuating a bit. But it's the first time ever it got over 1600.

Actually I think the bouncing members are not included in it, so the actual number is higher. At any given time there seem to be over 100 bouncers.

Overwhelming, yes. Highly-deserved, that too.
