Rec of the day

Attention, Shoppers by [personal profile] amand_r (Highlander)

Summary: Rollback in aisle three: gemstones, cheap liquor and pickaxes.

The story of how three immortals end up working at Walmart in order to case the joint. Methos' narrative voice alone is worth the price of admission here.

Did you read Sholio's Amanda fic that she posted earlier this year? Also very, very good!

Amand-r has been writing Highlander fanfic since the show was on the air and has always been one of my favorite authors in that fandom. You should definitely check out all past works! (The lyric wheel challenge in general produced some good fanfic.)

God, I've so dated myself, haven't I? :)

I didn't see Sholio's Amanda fic, but I'll check it out next. Unsurprisingly, I adore Amanda.
