Summary: There's a certain fear that some children share as they grow up, that whatever they do will never be as good as what's come before. Among all the other things he will ever be, Calvin has never been one of those kids.
What I particularly like about this version of Calvin and Susie growning up together is how the author shows steps along the way, lots of little moments through the years, and takes her time telling the story. Love the style and the structure, the characterization, the original characters, everything.
