So late already... uh, a quick rec, yes, I got something:
What does it feel like to fly over planet Earth?
A time-lapse video taken from the ISS, showing the Earth at night. It's really fascinating.

We went on a day trip today to an old ship lift which was turned into an industrial museum. It was pretty amazing. Unlike in a normal lock they lifted the ships including the water around them in a big tub... like a huge hydraulic elevator. I brought my camera but I couldn't get a decent shot of the entire structure so I'm linking: View from the lower level, view from the upper level.

Here's one of mine, a shot into one of the 100-foot holes that were part of the hydraulics system used to lift the tub above.

The main reason for our trip was to visit an exhibition of international pop-up books featuring ships, and it was really good too... my photos, not so much. Well, this one turned out okay:

I want to do one of these sometime! :) Not this complicated of course, I'll start smaller.
