I always cringe when I see these lemur and other exotic animals as pets videos, because so many get captured from the wild even though they are endangered, and of course it doesn't help that countries like Madagascar are so desperately poor. So I keep thinking that youtube videos making them look cute as pets can't help, because they probably make demand spike, like the morons trying to get owls because of Harry Potter.

The roomate said she assumed it's a zoo animal that's raised by hand because the mother rejected it. Of course it's hard to tell from the vid alone.
