On the bright side, at least there hasn't been a supervolcano eruption leading to a 1816 "year without summer" type of thing. It's still much better than that at least, even though I'm huddling right now with a blanket, and judging from the noises my heater makes, other people in my building have turned on their heating.

And, trying to think positive, at least today is not as cold as yesterday? I was just sitting outside and there was actual sunlight. (Though just typing that I feel like I'm jinxing it. :P) Please, sunlight, don't go away again...
It's been raining for a solid week and it's 16 degrees. Last Sunday the heater turned on by itself!
Quick question, can you access LJ? I've been getting a "Page cannot be displayed" screen for two days now. It seemed like it was up this afternoon when I logged in at work, but yesterday I couldn't access it at work either.
Where are you, GB? [eta: no wait, Holland, right? I saw that on the rain radar... yeah, didn't look good.] That sounds even nastier than what we've had. Didn't think that was possible in July. Though, a friend just came back from Ireland and said it was even colder there because on top of the wetness and the cold, there was wind. Brrr.
I checked just now: I can access LJ just fine, and I could earlier today. My post from 23 hours ago woudn't crosspost though, neither did this one here but I posted this when LJ was down for everyone, yesterday. (The site was down completely, they were talking about it on JF and DW.) I've heard other people mention having problems posting or commenting. Dunno what the problem is.
