Thanks for the link. We'd already thought of getting one of those pull-up bars that you can squeeze into a doorway. That might work. Aldi had those earlier this year but they sold out so quickly you won't believe.
Hm, the training boards they have at the site you linked, those look much more interesting. Might be worth looking into, though our walls are a kind of indestructable concrete that's almost impossible to drill a hole into.
I decided to pony up for one-month membership at my climbing gym for November; I figured, if I don't have to pay every single time, I might drop by just for an hour of bouldering even if I can't find someone else to join me. I plan to go tomorrow and check out their new bouldering cave. (I find bouldering still quite confusing tbh... it feels quite different from toproping and I'm never sure where the routes go.)
