I cropped this scene out of my fanart "Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?", a Ronon&Todd piece which is still one of my personal faves. I think what I like about it is that it such a typical fanart - while it works on a superficial level as a nice illustration, you need the context of the show to get the full meaning. And, well, I really like the idea of Ronon and Todd doing their version of the Buddy movie thing. I think they're both pragmatic enough to overcome their antagonism.
Heh. This was made by pentapus, and it's such quintessential John&Rodney (in this case their dorkier side). I love the coloring, too.
This one was made by danceswithgary. I snagged it because it makes me grin whenever I see it. I'm imagining Rodney trying to be suave just like Bond, and not quite succeeding...
Penguins! Okay, for the people who joined this fandom more recently: penguins were kinda like a thing, in the early years of SGA fandom. I even knew about the penguins when I wasn't in the fandom yet. Actually the very first SGA fic I read, recced to me during an meta discussion about something entirely different, was Pygoscelis (Or, a Gift of Pebbles) by Leah: Rodney and John get transmogrified into penguins. I liked that fic even though I had no idea who those people were. Icon by ileliberte.
