Eight Days of Happy - the cliff notes version

I got tagged for the 8 days of happiness meme. I don't think I'll remember to post eight days in a row so I figure, I'm just doing the comprised version and post eight eleven happymaking things in one post.

1. Spring. Glorious, glorious spring. Sitting in front of the door in the sun and sketching or reading fic. Walking around in a t-shirt and barefoot. And our front yard looks like this:

2. Rollerblading. In the sun.
3. The cat. My roomies. :o)
4. The project I was supposed to work on this month got postponed into next year, and I was so overworked that this made me really happy. I so needed a time out. And it gives me time to work on [livejournal.com profile] rheanna27's and my Atlantis comic.
5. The comic. I can't wait to get up in the mornings so I can get back to it. The second page is inked, I just finished it. And the third one is only missing one panel and a few heads.
6. My concern that only five people would want to read a comic focusing on Jennifer and Teyla was unfounded. \o/
7. SGA fic
8. For the longest time I wanted to learn how to skateboard, but I always felt too ridiculous trying it alone. But I found a friend who's just as crazy, so we can make fools of ourselves together. On the second day we mastered steering the thing. Well, not mastered. But there was going around corners and stuff. It's fun.
9. This picture I saw at [livejournal.com profile] hewlett_daily:

10. Comic Con in July. I'm looking forward to seeing some of my American friends again.
11. Dreamwidth and OTW... very ambitioned projects, but I think the people involved can pull it off. And fandom deserves its own infrastructure.

I'm not tagging anyone because I have no idea who's been tagged already. So, feel yourself tagged. :)
