So much good character stuff in this little ficlet. Oh man, now I'm craving an epic Sam/Rodney fic even more. Anyone got any recs? Anything you haven't seen me rec already? I'd go to genrefinders except I'm pretty sure I've already read most of what's out there.

Now I'll have to apply this principle to the rest of the apartment, because my dad and my step-mum want to come visit on Monday, and there's just no way I can let them inside the way it's looking right now. And I have to do at least three loads of laundry. And scan all the illus for The Book. And I just got this pretty neat idea for an icon... think I'll do that first...

I always thought I'd expand #4 of these (http://less-star.livejournal.com/3178.html#cutid1) and, because I'm a monumental sap, make it firmly Sam/Rodney in the end. It's one of those stories that are more or less planned out in my head, but I can't seem to find the energy to get down on paper (or into Word, as it were).

Ich mag den Krug mit den Blumen drauf. Für so bauchige Gefäße habe ich ja was übrig.

Ja, das ist mein uralter Sitzball. Eigenlich müsste ich den dringend mal aufpumpen, aber andererseits passt er so gerade unter meinen Schreibtisch. Ansonsten ist so ein Ball irgendwie immer im Weg.

Am Schreibtisch arbeiten konnte ich damit auch nie... zu wackelig.

Ah, mein Wildrosenpott. :) Ich habe ein ganzes Service davon. Als wir die Wohnung meiner Mutter auflösten, was das das einzige, was ich wirklich haben wollte. Hängen Erinnerungen dran, und mir gefällt das Design auch heute noch wirklich gut.
