Comic [SGA]: Creature (Double) Feature, final part

As usual, I edited the next part under the previous ones: direkt link to part 4. Or click on the picture above to start reading at the beginning.

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] rheanna27 for helping with Rodney's technobabble. (In some places I'd just written [technobabble] in the script, figuring I'd cross that bridge when I got to it. Then when I got to the bridge I eyed it with an expression akin to that Keller wore when she saw that Athosian construction in 'Missing'. In other words, technobabble, not really my thing.)

Still a dozen little things here and there I'd like to fix, but I really wanted to get this posted before I have to get back to work tomorrow. This grew a little longer than I'd planned, I don't know what ever happened to my 'four pages'.

Okay, I LOVED this! The entire thing was just....beautiful!

This is absolutely gorgeous.

You're very welcome! It was an absolute pleasure to be able to make a small contribution; the comic is *amazing* -- the art and the pitch-perfect characterisations and the little facial expressions... it's just wonderful, and I got a HUGE kick out of actually seeing my little bit of technobabble in speech bubbles. (Honestly, it feels like about as close as I'll get to writing dialogue for the show, that's how good it is.)

It's so good to see the completed version. Still adoring the payoff. YAY.

(Hmmm... maybe as a sideline I could rent myself out as a technobabble consultant: Rheanna -- for all your unscientific but vaguely plausible sounding exposition needs.)

This comic is such a fun to read. I can do it over and over again and still discover little things in the pictures which I have missed the last time around. :-) The picture with Rodney doing all the techno-babble how difficult it will be to modulate and compensate etc. etc. and the "Rodney" in a speech bubble that originates off-picture. I *so* LOLed at this. You don't have to see the person, you just *know* that's Sheppard who brings Rodney back to track. And then Rodney's response of "...piece of cake" without missing a beat. Perfect! *g*

Yay, glad you like.

At this point you might even see something that wasn't there the last time around... ;) I keep finding stuff that needs fixing. Continuity is a bitch. (I just went in to add Shep's wrist band in one scene. Can't believe I forgot something like that!)

I'm so glad this thing is finally finished. And now all I can think of is that I'd like to do another one. (But that one's not gonna take place in the city if I can help it.)

for all your unscientific but vaguely plausible sounding exposition needs.)

Heh. I now fully appreciate the art of Technobabble, now that I've seen how tricky it is.

>>I just went in to add Shep's wrist band in one scene. Can't believe I forgot something like that!<<

*LOL* Don't worry about that. Even the show forgets this occasionally. When Sheppards picks up Lorne's dog tags with the tip of his knife he doesn't wear a wristband and it's also missing in the scene from Midway when John watches the fight between Ronon and Teal'c. So, you're in good company. ;-)

hey there - i love this! it's so cute and funny and your artwork is AMAZINGLY accurate and beautiful!!! :)

i do have a question tho. are there 12 or 11 "pages" to it? i ask because there is a red 'x' space mini-square between the dr z "yes yes yes" psnel and the carter "those are the smallest i could get" panel. and when i right-click on the block, i get the show picture option. but no picture comes up. i've also tried refreshing the whole page. so - got any other ideas on how i cab view the "missing" page?

well - anyhoo - thanks for cresting this wondeful piece of clever artwork and cute story & then sharing with the masses too! :) Hoooray! :)

~a huge fan of your
awesome comix,
Sharma! :)

I especially love your characterization of Rodney, and the way you make John lean lazily on EVERYTHING. :D
