I just watched Cube and liked it rather a lot. I'd avoided the movie before because I thought it would be too gory for my taste, but my fear was unfounded. Apart from a few shocker scenes the horror was more psychological... anticipation of the horrors lurking around the corner (or within your fellow human). We were all creeped out quite nicely.
Anyway, as behooves a good fan, I went online right away and looked for some Worth-centric fic as a band-aid for that ending. :) Didn't find anything good at the pit, but then I remembered to google 'hewligan' and found this Thoughtcrimes xover I liked:

I found both characters interesting and three-dimensional, written in a way that makes me want to read more about them (and I haven't even watched Thoughtcrimes yet).

Summary: Four authors who (fortunately for them) didn't write Stargate Atlantis, and one who (fortunately for Atlantis) didn't write it, either.
Our characters end up in various fictional universes where they don't fit in all too well. Brilliant pastiche; she manages to emulate the various authors's style just perfectly, and on top of that each story is hilarious.
Old Soldiers Die Hard byfriendshipper

Summary: The old guy in Room 30B was about the most disagreeable human being that the nurses had ever met. But he did get visitors -- including a retired Air Force Colonel.
This is a story I'd put off reading for a while because from the summary and subject matter I'd feared it would be depressing... which, okay, it turned out to be most definitely not. Wonderful story, with an interesting and engaging OC. I really like the outsider POV.

I enjoyed it a whole lot, way more than I thought I would. Not just because of the constant tension, the puzzle was also really intriguing.
Rule #1: if it exists, there's fanfic for it somewhere. Heh.
Cube 2 is also very good.
Oh, that's interesting. I'd heard that the sequels aren't as good, except for the most recent one. I'll check it out.
