Hey internet, I finished two double spreads today. Granted, one of them consisted only of two little vignettes but, mustn't be sticklers. Still counts :P. Seven down, eight to go. Keeping all available fingers crossed that I'm not gonna get any revisions for this one because, really, I'm running on reserve fuel. But if all goes well, I can have this one finished in two weeks. Two weeks, that's doable.

The Guy Who Came in From the Cold by

gen with a touch of het; PG-13; Imaginary!Carter/McKay + McKay/Markov; 4,933 words
Spoilers: Stargate SG-1's 48 Hours.
Summary:: Rodney is sent to Siberia where he learns to thaw out a little.
“This is it?” he complains, getting nothing but an indifferent and grim look from a man of indeterminate and completely irrelevant military rank as he turns away. “Oh, well, thank you. I always wondered what living in the gulag would be like.”
I adore this story! A wonderful fic about Rodney coming to terms with his exile in Siberia: funny, insightful... and effortlessly reconciling that jerk from 48 Hours with our McKay.
