fanart: making of. Plus more recs

I just finished #4 of ten double-spread pages for that project I've dubbed whatafuckloadofwork. As of this moment, I'm (yes!) back on schedule. I'm just hoping there won't be any extensive revisions on the rest of the pages. Right now, I'll just enjoy that cozy back-on-schedule feeling. *basks*

Also, I got time to post now. *cracks knuckles* 'kay. more fanart recs, both for [livejournal.com profile] paintedspires (which was, in case I haven't said it already, one of the best things *ever*.)

Stargate: Atlantis (1974) by [livejournal.com profile] _phoon_
Prompt: Stargate: Atlantis (1974)--what if the show we were watching now was the remake of a show originally aired thirty years ago? What might the original show look like?
This, this is exactly what it'd look like. So wonderfully cheesy, and it's got that totally authentic look.

Very nice layout and coloring

Still no time to work on the comic. I'll have some free time in July, I hope. But I got these few scans that I'd uploaded and forgot about... a couple in-progress scans of my Wraith pic for Painted Spires. That thing practically drew itself, and so quickly that I got impatient and stopped pencilling in the middle to go straight to the inking part, just to keep up. Which I normally don't ever do. I made a few scans in the process, in case I did screw up. (#5 is my one aborted attempt at coloring in Photoshop.)

Interesting topic, and the presentation is pretty cool. (this got rec'd to a friend as an example on how to make an Power Point presentation that doesn't put your audience to sleep)
