Today I came home to find that one of the cats had peed right outside the litter box.
But, then I saw the casting info for season five, which makes me all a-squee. So I guess it all evens out.

Yesterday I crashed but good. Is there such a thing as adrenaline withdrawal? I'm still feeling a little zombie-like today, but less so. Slept almost twelve hours tonight, which is a step in the right direction. Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to express my distaste of carneval and public holidays in general. There I was, on my day off, and the gym was closed. No sauna :/ So, I blame yesterday's zombie-like state on the carneval.

Anyway, fic rec:

After any large project your still set in that Heavy Work Mode and it takes a while to get back to reality. I think it must be like getting hooked on the adrenaline you exert trying to finish a project.

Yeah... we call it The Hole. ;) Haven't crashed quite this hard in a long while though. It was probably amplified by the roomie's coughing waking me up every night for over a week, and not getting into bed before 4 am for the past two weeks.

Will you get a break to work on your own stuff? Maybe some new comic book stuff to show off at SDCC08?

Hopefully I'll get something done today!

I finished a big-ass book today; the last three days have been pure furious effort. Went to a party tonight and was dropping where I stood after an hour. Can't... keep... eyes... open...

So, yes. :)

Good to see it's not just me. I hope you'll have some time to hang out and recharge the batteries!

The crazy thing is, the official deadline for this thing is at the end of February, so there wasn't really a reason to work myself into a frenzy. But once I get close to finishing a book, I just can't make myself take a break. On the upside, I can take as many days off as I like now, and I'm gonna.

Well, unless it keeps raining for the next week, then I'll get to the next half-finished project while I wait for the weather to change.
