I got tagged by [livejournal.com profile] makd:
1. My very first fandom was Star Trek. I was eleven, and I had no idea of the whole concept of fandom. When the show started there even was this whole article about people wearing Spock ears, but I never made the connection. Anyway, after watching five minutes of the first ep (For The World Is Hollow, And I Have Touched The Sky), I was hooked. Spent a considerable part of the next ten years hunting down tie-in novels and writing ST fanfic in my head (of course I had no idea that that was what I was doing).

2: I also spent a large part of my time at school doodling in my note books - a mix of original stuff and fan art. Obviously I had no idea that I was doing fanart when I was sketching fighting Jedi. Never ever got called on it by a teacher, surprisingly.

3. I generally love sports, provided they don't involve teams and a ball. Back in school, all we ever did was ball games. I supremely sucked at school sports. I loathed school sports. If I ever run into our old teacher again, I look forward to telling him what exactly I think of his way of teaching.

4. I can carry a grude for ages. (But I'm usually quite a mellow person, honest.)

for number 5, I'm copypasting one of makd's:
I used to read a novel/week. Then I began to read fanfic. (Does this remind you of anyone?)
Well, I don't remember if I read a novel/week, but I did read a lot of original fiction, and that has trickled down to almost nothing. Sometimes I wonder if I should at least feel like I'm missing out on something - then I stumble across yet another work of art like "Freedom's just another word" or "Rebuilding Babel" or "The Atlantean Dictionary Of Literary Terms" and I tell myself, what the hell.

Besides, I still read a lot of non-fiction.

6. Right now I'm considering cheating on my trusty old gym with a shinier, flashier gym. I mean, they got four saunas. And better opening hours. And more classes. I'm tempted.

7. I've been cutting my own hair since I was fifteen - before that, my mum used to do it which obviously was a traumatizing experience. Now, no one's getting near that hair with scissors in their hand. Saves quite a bit of cash, too.

B. Tag seven people to do the same.
C. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do this, do it."

What can I say, I'm a rebel :P... whoever wants to do this, knock yourself out.
