That post? A thing of beauty. *bows* I was reading my flist in a state of deep paranoia, but even so you guys managed to sneak in a teensy bit of doubt. Well, until the final paragraphs anyway, where the last vestige of doubt was removed. :)
Nice one using German ;-P
Of course the problem with using German as a super seekrit code is, once someone starts talking in German, soon half the posters on any given thread will chime in (or so it appears).
That post is made of so much win... how burr86 talks with boundless enthusiasm about all the exciting changes their users will loathe with the burning passion of a thousand suns.

haha... we are having fun reading people's comments. There is much doubt in people mind's but they are so not sure. It's really been fun, esp yours =D.
I agree with using 'code' and then everyone who know it starts a convo in it. Happens all the time.
What, news? Worry not, they fooled a lot of people. Apparently some deleted their first comments in a haste once they read the others. ;) I had that post on tracking for a brief while to amuse me, but it was too high-traffic.
Bwah. Here's one I just found in japanese: Beginning Japanese ^^; -Or- "Sou, anata wa hoshi benkyo Nihongo desu ka da yo, ne ^_~?" (http://community.livejournal.com/japanese/1303159.html?style=mine)
These people sure put some work into their pranks. I'm impressed.
I can imagine that you had a ball putting that post together. Yo what up internets... hee. One can't help getting flashbacks to a certain fäke band rapping about their PSP. Which I'm sure isn't entirely unintentional. Viral marketing gives me the creeps.
But this post had me giggling throughout.
Wow, but how on earth have you found this post, and so quickly... do you have a trackback tool at the news post, or is there some admin x-ray superpower which allows one to scan comments? (That would be wicked useful to have - ljseek is always days behind, unreliable, and it ignores comments, I think.)
