'Fray' is pretty damn shiny, isn't it. I hadn't read it myself until last year (for the Whedonverse, for me, is really All About Angel and I hadn't been interested in the story of a future slayer). When yhlee suggested this comic to me, I bought a copy and was thrilled. Great addition to the 'verse. It has that Jossian flair that the other tie-in comics are sadly missing, and a compelling story on top of that.
And of course the artwork is fantastic, too. I was duely inspired when I read 'Fray', I couldn't wait to start illustrating Yoon's script. And I've never felt the slightest desire to do fan art for a comic before. Well, not since I was a kid and copying from my favorite graphic novels.
I have one or two more weeks of rl work, then I hope to have a few days to work on 'Synth'. I'm itching to finish it.
