Fuck it all, I caved and asked for an extension on my taxes. At least now I can take my time figuring out that electronic submission process without worrying about getting fined. Still need to wait for my sales tax ID to arrive in the mail, too.

Imma finish my book in peace and then I'll finish the damn taxes.

Computers, there to make our lives easier. :/ I could have the forms printed and in their mail box within a couple of hours.

Yeah, their electronic system is not easier for the user at all. I guess the main advantage is that they save money on data entry. Which is not bad as such, but they ought to stop pretending it made things simpler on the front end than using a piece of paper.

Pretty much. For the user, it's a huge hassle. At least it should get considerably easier next year, with the ground work done.
