Today I got my plane ticket to San Diego. Now all that's left to do is fill out that Comic Con registration form.
I would've loved to go to Writercon but what do you wanna do... I want to go to Comic Con even more, and as luck would have it both cons are at the very same weekend. Ironically I have a 10 hour layover in Atlanta on my way back on Monday. Maybe I'll run into one of you at the airport ;o)

I was talking with a rl friend about Bones. When he told me he'd already seen an ep, I asked (and I quote) "Which one, the one with the dead body?" Um, yeah.

Story count at the BBFA is currently (ta-daa) 495. I hope we'll break 500 this week. I found a helper elf to lend a hand with the uploading and I luff her.

Oh, before I forget. Tomorrow is a momentous occasion... tomorrow I will eat meat. :) I've been a vegetarian for 17 years, but recently I've got this craving for meat that I don't want to ignore any longer. I mean, last time I tried to give blood, my iron count was so low it didn't even register on that little beepy device. So, I'm gonna do the reasonable thing and listen to my body, and tomorrow me and the housemates will have ourselves a few nice, juicy steaks. The farmer's market has bio meat, hopefully free of BSE and all the other things you don't have to worry about as a vegetarian.
