As I understand it, comixology is giving away Hawkeye #1 in digital format for free today. So if you wanted to check out this awesome series, this would be a good opportunity.

Thanks for the heads up about Hawkeye. I've been thinking about getting into it for a while but I find comics extremely intimidating. I only recently heard about comixology -- good site?

Can't really tell - I don't ever read comics digitally except for a few preview pages to see if I like the art.

I think Hawkeye is a really good entry point into comics; it seems to appeal to readers who're not usually into superhero comics (like me). It stands well on its own; the whole background history is only occasionally referred to and you don't need to know any details.
