Hi internet. I'm back from vacation in Berlin, where I went to visit my aunt as well as two longtime friends from Edmonton who (in some crazy coincidence) had unknowingly rented a vacation rental in the exact same apartment complex where my aunt lives. Small world. So I got to see the three of them at the same time, and also enjoy Berlin in the best weather imaginable. And got to boulder at this lovely spot here: A concrete rock with a 120 meter traverse and countless boulder problems. It's got cracks, slopers and corners, even an overhang or two... I think I'm in love. And my love is located hundreds of miles away. *sob* None of the spots we have are anywhere near as good.
I also went to Mount Mitte ... I've always wanted to try a high rope course and this one is smack in the middle of the city so I couldn't resist. Spent two happy hours there - it's as much fun as it looks. Some of these obstacles are harder than they look. And, interesting feeling to balance on a bar suspended 15 meters above ground. Great view, too!
Me and my companions also did lots of touristy things, of course. ;)
I was checking my reading lists intermittedly but I couldn't bookmark anything, so now I shall go and find all those posts I made mental notes of...

I really have to visit there again some day. If only the flights weren't so extremely pricey.
