starlet2367 Bones birthday fic
In honour of the occasion, here're some of
starlet2367's stories. I've recced those before, but as far as I'm concerned, these can never be recced enough. All the stories are at her site.
Heat Stroke (Rated NC-17) Angel/Cordelia
SUMMARY: "Please tell me there's a Kwik-E-Mart next door," Angel said. Cordy slapped him on the arm. "No, dummy. There's nothing but desert. Flat, empty, stupid desert."
The Cruelest Month (Rated R) Genfic
The story of four detectives, two snitches, one candy dispenser, and an April Fool's day that Cordelia would rather forget. Post-ep for Epiphany.
Anodyne (Rated PG-13) Genfic, A/C friendship
Post-ep for A New World.
Ghost of a Chance (Rated R) Cordelia/Other...kind of
SUMMARY: When Cordelia arrives home from the hospital to find an evil presence manifesting her building, the gang’s attempts to rescue Dennis from its clutches throw her recuperation into chaos. Co-written with littleheaven.
These are just some of my faves, check out the other stories at the site, too. (Wow, speaking of... looking at the site I notice at least half a dozen stories I don't know myself yet. *bookmarks*)

In real life news, I finished a cover illlustration today and was thus allowed to take the whole evening off. Most of that was spent on a Buffy viewing party (and well spent it was!) We watched the Buffy pilot, after having finished all five seasons of Angel. The pilot is not bad at all, if you ignore the crappy lighting, the fx - or lack thereof - and the fact that I have no idea who that guy is who calls himself Angel. Really, who is that guy and what has he done with my favourite character? Dude! Good thing they found that character pretty quickly; I remember that by the end of that season he was already recognizable as Angel.
Anyway, Joss's dialogue makes it all worthwhile and it's interesting to see where the show came from. And so much more fun to watch it with likeminded (meaning, crazily obsessed) people.

Tomorrow, back to work. If all goes well, I should be done by mid-march, and then, dammit, there will be fanart. Or fanfic. Or both. Something for myself, anyway, with no deadline.
