Summary: It was a strange thing, to know you were living a life that wasn't quite your own.
Clint never ran away, never became Hawkeye. Doesn't mean his path doesn't cross with a certain redhead's. Happy endings are very much in the eye of the beholder, though, so don't hold anyone's breath (unless you want to).
