Leverage ep 8 - 10

Am finally caught up on Leverage.
I just finished episode 9. It was pretty good indeed, solid action and good character stuff, but overall I enjoyed the Sophie-Nate-Sterling combo more. I can definitely see why the OT3 people are squeeing over the Parker-Hardison-Eliot ep though.

But actually my favorite from this season is The Broken Wing Job! That was an hour of fun. I like the Rear Window trope in general, the plot was cool (should've seen the twist coming but didn't), Parker rocked this ep and the OC was *perfect*. I mean, for Parker and an OC to carry that episode by their lonesome - that's good writing! Wouldn't mind seeing her again!

I like the way the writers don't get stuck in their format but instead aren't afraid to play around with the formula, or even ignore it for an entire episode at a time. I dunno, I've been getting a fanficcy feel off some of the latest eps and I mean that in the good way...

Parker, and Parker&sidekick! And Sophie&Nate&Sterling! And Parker&Hardison&Eliot! The last few eps were great :D

They really were.
And I just now figured out that this was the season finale. Wow, these tv seasons are getting shorter and shorter. Much like German summers.

...that doesn't make any sense. We didn't even learn what Nate and Hardison were doing in that scene at the end of the first episode this season, and aren't the last episodes of the season usually bigger and more team-y? Maybe it was just the summer finale and the next few will follow after the break?

Hm, that's true. I just read it somewhere in an episode guide but maybe they were wrong... off to double check.

I haven't found any information on when it starts again, sadly, but at least I have good episodes to rewatch now.

I'm an OT3er and I loved ep 9, but I agree, the Sophie, Nate Sterling one I liked better. I think it's the wit involved? Or something? I don't know, but Nate really challenged, and him and Sophie doing the Nate and Sophie show while Sterling forces them to bring their A game was just fun. It was very Mystery! in a way.

The Broken Wing Job is totally the best ep of the first ten.
