The federal state I live in (North-Rhine Westphalia) has voted yesterday. Huge losses for the conservative CDU. Their partners-in-crime FDP did surprisingly well but without the CDU to power them they can't do that much damage with their antisocial attitudes.
The Pirates did really well and I'm actually pleased about that. I wouldn't have voted for them because they're nowhere near getting their act together, but I'm glad they will be a small presence in parliament, adding their POV.
