Spam that, suckers!

I had to disable anon commenting on my LJ entirely, due to the frequency of the spam (daily, what the hell) in spite of every possible hurdle I threw in their way - IP logging, screening and captcha on top of it, all no use. Anons can always comment on the DW mirror.

Sympathies. I did away with anon commenting either place after, I think, I got spam in Japanese. For some reason getting spammed in a language that I can't read (someone who reads Japanese confirmed that it was, indeed, spam) is especially annoying.

I never got Japanese, only Russian a couple of times. Well, even the spam I got in English very rarely even made sense; it was mostly meaningless phrases and sentence fragments. I was getting the impression they're testing their spamming methods. Feels good I got rid of them, I was getting sick of starting the day by deleting my morning spam.
