I made deadline five days early, therefore: fanart.

This is just that sketch that I drew on my flight back from SF - no concept whatsoever, as stream-of-consciousness as it gets. Makes you wonder what goes on down there in the subconscious.

I hadn't planned on painting a background, but it could use one, and I have an image in my head, so I'll probably add that. Could be interesting to paint the background separately and edit the scene in in Photoshop... I have to learn how to do that at one point. Eh.

I'm also coloring a couple of the character sketches I did earlier; not quite finished with them. I'm thinking about throwing a couple of those elements together and making myself an LJ banner, or maybe a wallpaper.

This *rocks*. I love love love the costumes, the perspective, and the whole feel of the scene. It reads like a story, and now I want to know how the heck they are going to get out of this one. :D

Photoshopping in a new background shouldn't be too hard because your line art is so clean, and it would be cool to see (if you decide to do it).

One should think, yeah. Other people make it look easy. I've tried it a couple of times, and it was more an exercise in frustration... even when the ink line seemed clean enough, there was always a greyish line around the cut-out shape, which I then had to fix manually. I could never figure out how to avoid that.

I might try it anyway, just for the sake of practice. I'm pretty sure I'll add a background in any case. Something that fits the costumes... hmm.
