The Museum of Natural History in my town is currently doing a very interesting exhibition on bionics, and as one of their special events you could try on one of these today. I've been waiting for that opportunity for at least a year! It's still a niche sport in Germany, so this was lucky. It was every bit as cool as I imagined it. Felt a lot less wobbly than I thought it would; it actually felt kind of natural! Just the one round everybody got was way not enough. Luckily there were talking about offering a trial lesson in my town soon!

It looks like fun, but seems to fall squarely into the "advanced" category of movement and balance. I've never even braved iceskating or rollerblading.

Oh yeah, more advanced than blading. Today, watching everybody wear them for the first time it was like... baby's first steps.
