How have I never heard of this show before?!

The weekend brought another full day of never-ending rain but I made the best of it and colored an entire double-spread page so now at least it doesn't feel like I was wasting days of my life feeling gloomy and being unproductive.

Also effective as a gloom remedy is this hidden gem:
The Unusuals, a prematurely cancelled cop show starring Jeremy Renner, among others. I heard good things about it in the Blackhawk corner of fandom so I checked it out and I'm so happy I did. Seriously, this brightened my weekend. Renner plays a cop who owns a diner on the side and can't cook but likes to, apparently. His character is insanely huggable and wow, so darn easy on the eyes (also shirtless on occasion - thank you, writers) but in fact all the character are great, the writing is tight, I love the atmosphere... I'm five eps in and I'm already bummed it was cancelled after ten.
